Elliott Kember, whom you can follow on Twitter at @elliottkember, has released a new Twitter client running on the Adobe AIR framework perfectly suited for allowing you to escape detection while posting updates to Twitter from your work.
The client has different UIs, including Excel 2007, 2003, and OSX, so you can simulate the look of a real spreadsheet that you’re working on. It has all the barebones functions you need to easily use Twitter, although some improvement is still needed – better closing support (the close button is not working!!!), ability to follow others, retweeting, etc. But the usefullness and the simplicity of this idea makes SpreadTweet a great tool to use to not get your boss angry over your Twitter addiction.
Download the tool (requires Adobe AIR) at Elliott Kember’s site - http://www.elliottkember.com/spreadtweet.html.
There is also an online version, but it doesn’t work as good as the desktop one, in my opinion.
Tell me your reaction in the comments. So long!
