TweetShrink is another tool that I’ve found to be very helpful in frequent tweeting. It takes your original tweet and simplifies phrases into their shorthand versions to minimize the size of the tweet and fit inside of the 140 character limit. You can post directly to Twitter through TweetShrink.com, or you can use an app that utlizes their API (e.g. TweetDeck, Twitterrific) to shorten your message.
